We are independently owned by long-term Santa Rosa, California resident Julie Nation, who founded the Academy in l972 in the belief that building self-esteem and confidence is the foundation for success in life- as individuals and in our careers.
An award-winning academy, this modeling and acting school is not a franchise, and refers students and graduates to Bay Area and Los Angeles agents for potential registration and employment. Our Model & Talent Showcase offers our students and participants from all over the United States, even internationally, the opportunity to perform their skills before a panel of prestigious agents and industry leaders. Our Casting Department also offers students and graduates local opportunities to build their resumes.
The staff and faculty at Julie Nation Academy are highly educated, dynamic individuals, many of whom are active professionals in modeling, acting, singing, and dance. Julie Nation herself is a former model and actor. Each staff member at the Academy holds his/her respective degrees and qualifications as active professionals, and have histories of involvement with Julie Nation Academy from anywhere between 2-22 years!
The mission of Julie Nation Academy is to enhance each student’s self-respect, to help them value and appreciate personal character, and strengthen their ability to make positive choices in their lives. All of our courses are taught with this spirit in mind. Each age level’s training is specially designed for the highest quality of learning potential. There is no “one size fits all” training, but rather carefully designed educational steps leading to each student’s success and confidence in reaching goals.
Julie Nation trainings appeal to those seeking inspirational education for themselves or their loved ones encompassing self-esteem, posture and carriage, public speaking and etiquette, as well as specialized career skills in modeling and acting.
