The Julie Nation team is thrilled to have kicked off another great year with a wonderfully successful trip to the International Model & Talent Association (IMTA) convention during the first part of January.
Our group of Julie Nation models and actors went to LA for a week packed with master class workshops, inspiring guest speakers, various modeling and acting competitions, and callback interviews with agents and casting directors actively scouting for new talent. Over 300 agents attended this event, which has helped launch the careers of celebrities including Katie Holmes, Elijah Wood, and Ashton Kutcher, to just name a few.
We are so proud of our participants this year, this time led by Julie Nation Public Relations Representative Gina Channell.
Devin Lewis, our first Singer to participate in IMTA, received an honorable mention award for her singing performance, and attended some great callback interviews with interested agents, managers, and casting directors who were interested in her for both acting and singing.
Ella Speckhart received honorable mention awards for her Commercial Print and Monologue competitions, and met with some amazing agents during callbacks. She already has a contract offer from a New York modeling agency!
Ashleigh Allen received a whopping 13 callbacks from modeling agents from all over the world, including prestigious Elite Model Management. We know she has already received a contract offer from a New York agency, and can't wait to see what develops from these exciting interviews!
We were also thrilled to see Julie Nation graduate and success story Brian Easter, returning to the IMTA stage to share his inspirational story with the other participants in attendance. Way to go!
